Larry has led education-focused nonprofits serving disadvantaged communities for years. He oversees education equity initiatives, school partnerships, and marketing strategy, building trust-based relationships with educators, clinicians, and families who rely on FocusMind.

Penny leads product design, branding, and UI/UX, shaping a platform that feels intuitive, calming, and empowering for neurodiverse users. She also drives VC outreach and investor strategy, bridging mission-driven impact with long-term sustainability.

Andrew serves as engineering lead, contributing audio-science research and adaptive sound innovation. His work is informed by both technical expertise and his firsthand experience living with ADHD, grounding FocusMind’s technology in lived reality and scientific rigor.

Wendy manages product and supply chain execution, including hardware sourcing, manufacturing coordination, and partner relationships for our smart earphones. She ensures that our vision translates into reliable, high-quality products at scale.

Conducting EEG data collection and analysis to evaluate how different binaural beat offset frequencies affect sustained attention, informing evidence-based optimization of FocusMind’s audio design.
Brand, Website & Community Outreach
Designing and launching the FocusMind website and social media presence to clearly communicate our mission, technology, and impact to families, educators, and partners.
School & Special Education Engagement
Visiting local special education institutions to interview educators and administrators, understand real-world classroom needs, and introduce FocusMind as a potential support tool.
User Research with Neurodiverse Youth
Interviewing a child with ADHD to better understand daily attention challenges and pain points, while demonstrating FocusMind’s approach and gathering early user feedback.
